Is the Harbour Hopper wheelchair accessible?
Yes, two vehicles in the 6-vehicle fleet have a mobile lift. You must book your accessible tour at least 24 to 36 hours in advance to guarantee this vehicle. Non-collapsible wheelchairs cannot be stored on standard hoppers.
Does the Harbour Hopper run in the rain?
Yes, tours operate rain or shine. No refunds are issued for poor weather unless the captain decides the harbor water conditions are unsafe. The vehicle has no roof, so bring a light rain jacket.

You're in good hands with Abigail and Mike who are experienced and funny tour guides. Do yourself a favour when you're in Halifax and book this tour. You get a great overview of the city's history, told with humour and charm.
The tour was wonderful and packed with fascinating historical information about Halifax. Both the driver and our tour guide, Abi, were absolutely amazing, friendly, and welcoming. The entire experience was filled with laughter, fun, and great jokes, making it both educational and entertaining. Highly recommended!
